Swaati looks forward to guiding the Exhale Hope community through a calming and meaningful practice in support of ALS families, awareness and research.
ALS Double Play was founded by the Chiu family after Christopher Chiu was diagnosed with ALS at only 32 years old. Christopher lived with ALS for five years before his passing in 2016.
Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, also known as ALS or Lou Gehrig’s disease, is a progressive and fatal motor neuron disease. ALS gradually affects a person’s ability to move, speak, swallow and breathe. There is currently no cure.
Funds raised through Exhale Hope for ALS will help ALS Double Play:
• Support ALS families through accessible mental health care
• Raise awareness about ALS and its impact
• Invest in critical ALS research, including the Christopher Chiu Fellowship at the University of Toronto
By registering, donating or sharing this event, you are helping build a future where no family has to face ALS alone.
Together, we can breathe in the calm, exhale hope and continue working to make ALS history.
Event registrations are non refundable. If you are unable to attend after registering, your registration fee will be considered a donation to
ALS Double Play and will help support families affected by ALS.
Thank you for your understanding and support.
