This #GivingTuesday, we come together to
MAKE A WORLD OF DIFFERENCE!
Gianni and his daughter Simona, like many fathers and daughters, share a very special bond. Gianni taught Simona many life lessons including how to ski. Gianni would braid Simona's hair each day before school. The two even have a special Christmas ritual where they watch The Polar Express and eat Baconators! Everything changed when Gianni was diagnosed with ALS this June. Gianni's ability to eat certain foods has changed and he has started losing dexterity in his hands. 13-year-old Simona now helps her Dad with many daily tasks... This year, they will watch Polar Express, but perhaps Simona will have to cut up her Dad's baconator so that he can enjoy it safely.
This GivingTuesday remember Simona and Gianni because every little girl should be able to have her Dad braid her hair.
ALS Double Play supports ALS research at the University of Toronto. As of today, there is no cure for ALS and no truly effective treatment...yet. Join us this GivingTuesday and help us make ALS history for Simona, for Gianni and their whole family.
You can WIN just for GIVING BACK!
When you make a donation of $50 or more, you will be entered into a draw to win a $200 gift card to Go Place (two chances to win) or a Family Pass to Angus Glen's Fairway of Lights ($110 value). Prizes will be drawn LIVE on Tuesday, December 7. Stay tuned for more info.
